What's in a sachet

Raw acacia honey contains over 180 naturally occurring compounds. Flavonoids, amino acids, trace neurotransmitter precursors. Unlike refined sugars, its balanced fructose-glucose ratio supports steadier energy. No spike, no crash.

The science behind hi honey

Natural energy.

honey energy
Better energy uptake Dual pathway Long-lasting

8% more endurance

The biology

Single-source carbs like maltodextrin saturate one absorption pathway. The body can only process so much per minute, the rest sits in your gut and crashes you.

How hi honey helps

Honey's natural 1:1 fructose-to-glucose ratio uses two pathways at once. Trained athletes were up to 8% faster on dual-source fuel.

Gut-friendly Prebiotic Easy digestion

11.5% prebiotic fibre

The biology

Maltodextrin disrupts the microbiome, fermenting in the gut and causing bloat and cramps mid-workout.

How hi honey helps

Raw honey contains up to 11.5% prebiotic fibres. They feed your good gut bacteria and support digestion.

Pure nature Natural antioxidants No artificials

Polyphenols, built in

The biology

Most gels are pure carbs with no micronutrients. Your body works harder, recovers slower.

How hi honey helps

Honey naturally contains polyphenols and flavonoids. 48 clinical trials show: honey supports metabolism and cell health.

raw acacia honey composition
180+ compounds Raw, unfiltered Enzymes intact

180+ naturally occurring compounds

What's in raw honey

Trace B vitamins (B2, B3, B5, B6), flavonoids (quercetin, kaempferol, pinocembrin), amino acids (tryptophan, proline, tyrosine), enzymes (invertase, diastase, glucose oxidase), and minerals.

Why raw matters

Industrial heating destroys honey's enzymes and degrades its flavonoids. Our acacia honey is unheated and unfiltered, so the natural composition stays intact.

Why it works

Natural energy,
nothing synthetic.

Honey is the only carbohydrate the human body has been digesting for 9,000 years.

1:1
Glucose to fructose, naturally.
The exact ratio sports science recommends for dual-pathway carb absorption - letting your body burn more grams per hour without overloading a single transporter.
Good for your gut, not against it.
Pure honey is rich in prebiotics, live enzymes, antioxidants and polyphenols that feed your gut microbiome. Most gels do the opposite. Maltodextrin and synthetic acids can disrupt gut bacteria and trigger GI distress mid-session.
0
Synthetic carbs, syrups or fillers.
No maltodextrin, no glucose syrup, no flavor masks. Just honey, electrolytes and one functional active.

Questions

You ask, we answer.

The questions we hear most.

How is hi honey different from other energy gels?
Most gels run on maltodextrin, a synthetic carb that hits your gut hard and crashes fast. hi honey uses pure honey with a natural 1:1 fructose-to-glucose ratio, which absorbs through two pathways at once. Steadier energy, no crash, no GI trouble.
When should I take it?
15 to 30 minutes before activity, every 45 to 60 minutes during sessions over an hour, and within 30 minutes post-workout for recovery.
Does it contain caffeine?
No. hi honey is caffeine-free. The energy comes from honey, electrolytes and taurine. No stimulants, no crash.
Why honey instead of maltodextrin?
Maltodextrin is cheap and concentrated, but it's a single-pathway carb that overwhelms your gut. Honey is nature's pre-balanced fuel. Same carb load, two absorption pathways, far gentler on digestion.
Is it suitable for diabetics?
hi honey is a carbohydrate-based energy source. If you have diabetes or any condition affecting blood sugar, please talk to your doctor before using it.
How many can I take per day?
For most people, 1 to 3 sachets on training days. We don't recommend more than 4 in a single day. Listen to your body.
Is it vegan? Gluten-free?
hi honey is gluten-free, soy-free, lactose-free and made without artificial colors or flavors. It contains honey, so it's vegetarian, not vegan.
Can I use it outside of workouts?
Yes. Drizzle a sachet on yogurt or oatmeal at breakfast, stir into coffee, matcha or tea. Real honey doubles as everyday nutrition.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship across the EU. Free shipping on orders over €60. Most orders arrive within 3 to 5 business days.
What's the shelf life?
Each sachet has a best-before date printed on the back, typically 12+ months from production. Store in a cool, dry place.
Where is it made?
Crafted in the EU with raw honey, electrolytes and taurine. Small batches, real ingredients, full traceability.
Is it tested for purity?
Yes. Every batch is checked for purity and contaminants. The honey is unprocessed and unadulterated.
